This course is a beginning level drawing class that covers specific drawing techniques, such as perspective, value studies, and subject matter like self-portraiture and observational objects. Students will engage the artistic drawing process by working with basic elements of art such as: line, shape, space, form, perspective, and value. Students will learn how to use different drawing media, keep a sketchbook/journal, talk and write about the creative process and critique their own and classmate’s artwork.
